MARTIN GORDON combined experience with London-based training in music and silver smithing in entering his storied career as a flutemaker, headjoint maker, hand engraver and, most recently, custom crown craftsperson. His early work at Flutemaker's Guild, London and alongside the world renowned Albert Cooper launched his decades-long career as a flutemaker and international consultant. Gordon has worked and consulted for virtually every major business in the industry, including, most recently, a line of flutes in China. His personal focus remains custom work for players and collectors with a focus on head joints, custom crowns and hand engraving. Martin welcomes inquiries and is also aligned with a network of dealers here and abroad.
